In 2010 we were the first winery in the world to certify the Carbon Footprint of a bottle of wine.
The first study, although experimental, was certified according to the ISO 14064 standard, while since 2016 our analyzes have been based on the Equalitas one.
Our carbon footprint responsibly takes into account all upstream processes (production of raw materials, packaging...), as well as all phases of cultivation, transformation and packaging within the winery, up to the exit gate of the finished products ("from cradle to gate ").
Our commitment to reducing emissions throughout this supply chain has resulted in improvements such as the first energetically independent cellar or the lightest bottle on the market (-40% dal 2010 al 2020).
