SALCO Vino Nobile di Montepulciano D.O.C.G 2005
Son of a well-balanced vegetative vintage, although marked by the sacrifice that some autumn storms had imposed during the harvesting, its vinification took place in wood (truncated cone vats), as well as aging of 24 months, which took place in big casks of Slavonian oak and small barrels of French Allier (never all new).
Its growth in our cellar is completed with a refinement of four years in the bottle. In the spirit of learning and growth trough experimentation, two different technologies of corking were utilized (natural cork screw cap) so as to highlight the different characters that can develop and then exhibit during its life in the bottle.
