Three great crus from our most important vineyard.
3 bottles wood case or 6 bottles wood case

Nobile Vecchie Viti del Salco 2017

74,00
The 2017 was more than ever a hot and dry year and its wines are full-bodied but soft. The alcoholic gradations are sustained but without lack of balance and drinkability also thanks to Salcheto’s pedoclimate, capable of providing freshness to the wines with its clay soils and the strong temperature ranges.

Nobile Vecchie Viti del Salco 2016

77,00
2016 grew up as a pretty intriguing vintage and was born in a kind of “old school” season. A quiet regular climatic, slightly late maturation and a finale with some rain. The result is a Sangiovese with a more elegant texture than ever which enhances its earthy and spicy tones.

Nobile Vecchie Viti del Salco 2015

80,00
2015 proved to be a year with a balanced climate for the territory, characterized by an extremely hot month of august which has greatly calmed the acidities: the wines that came out are meaty and decidedly soft, basically “to eat and to drink”. Vecchie Viti del Salco, which was vinified in 70hl wood tanks with only indigenous yeasts and without added sulphites, and has aged, in equal parts in 300-liter tonneaux and in large botte, does not lack of either balance and elegance.

Salco 2015

49,00
2015 is undoubtedly one of the most impressive vintage of its decade. It was marked by a strong thermal stress in August, which has particularly influenced acidity levels. The result is a wine “eat and drink all in one”, fleshy and soft, to be enjoyed perhaps in a shorter time horizon. Salco has been vinified with indigenous yeasts only and without adding sulphites, showing balance and elegance also thanks to Salcheto pedoclimatic, with soils rich of clay and significant temperature ranges.

Salco 2012

54,00
The 2012 vintage was marked by those light and heat storms, quiet anticipated this time to early summer, which challenge the plant and its maturation path, thus offering plenty of generous fruit.

Salco 2089

79,00 558,00
A unique edition from the Salco vineyard, blend of two vintages, the 2008 and 2009, only for the sake of making a great wine. Dedicated to winemakers.

Riserva 2019

56,00
Vinified with the “Governo Toscano” method from single varietal Sangiovese Prugnolo Gentile slightly overripe through withering, aged for 24 months in wood, then 12 more months in glass

Salco 2005

65,00
From the most mature vineyards of Salcheto, the 2 Hectare Salco Vineyard, Salco is produced thanks to a clone of Sangiovese Prugnolo Gentile that at each vintage, reaches with ease, a slight over ripeness.

Riserva 2016

2016 was a kind of “old school” vintage: a regular season, slightly late maturation and a season finale with some rain. The result is a more elegant Sangiovese than ever which enhances its mineral and spicy tones.

Riserva 2013

The 2013 is a vintage that surprised us all in the end, for better or for worse. The climatic discontinuity put pressure over the fruit ripening, up to a nearly perfect September which gave us well concentrated and balanced fruits, but also offered thin skins that could hardly stand the first autumn rains. In this scenario, finally a bit ‘”classic” for the decade, our focus was once again put on careful selection in the vineyard and over the triage tables. Its wines are among the most intense of all time, thus renewed thanks also to the always fascinating work of the indigenous yeasts

Nobile 2020

11,00 98,00
The 2020 of Vino Nobile di Montepulciano vintage was simply as complicated as its time: late frosts, humid spring, summer with peaks of extreme heat and hail, with a rainy season finale. But stubbornness and experience, together with nature’s magic, have brought us wines that are nevertheless profound and round, although turned to the subtle side of wine.

Nobile 2019

The 2019 vintage of Vino Nobile di Montepulciano is fresh and intense, due to a pretty classic climate, able though to push the fruit until a good maturation.

Nobile 2016

Nobile 2014

We should have named this 2014 vintage of our Vino Nobile di Montepulciano “RISALCONE”: while facing a really challenging harvest we actually decided to concentrate all our energies into that bottle, which then puts together our “cru” SALCO and our RISERVA too. Considering how direct and open wines of such vintages are, this bottle is pure fun.

Nobile 2000

38,00
A selection of Prugnolo Gentile grapes; the pressings are macerated at length in the must. Static decanting in the final phase. Temperatures are allowed to rise to 33° C. (95° F.), while maximum peaks are subjected to controls; maturation in Slavonian oak casks holding a maximum of 35 hectoliters (920 gallons) and barrels of oak from the Allier.
